Not Fay-zed: Lee schools first day goes on as scheduled (Naples Daily News)

A thunderous, pounding noise will erupt Monday across Lee County. It won?t be Fay. School?s on, and more than 80,000 students are expected to storm through the doors of the county?s 113 public schools. Lee County School District Superintendent James Browder said he was ready for students last week, before Fay formed and before Southwest Florida was put under a hurricane watch.
