LAUREL HILL - Rocky Bayou Christian and Laurel Hill locked horns in a District 1-A volleyball marathon that lasted almost two hours Tuesday night. In the end, a healthy dose of Katie Free led the Hoboes to the five-game win with scores of 10-25, 25-18, 26-28, 25-13, 15-9.

BAKER - It's not how you start but how you finish, and the Baker volleyball team proved that Tuesday against rival Laurel Hill. The Gators might have struggled in the beginning, but they finished strong in sweeping the Hoboes 3-0 by scores of 25-19, 25-23, 25-13 to take their third consecutive win.
